      What this product is for

This 1 in. combination pull elbow is used to connect EMT to rigid conduit or IMC where a 90 deg change in direction is needed and conductor pulling access is required.

      Use for

Use for conduit-to-conduit transitions in commercial and industrial installations, especially where straight pull access is limited and a removable cover helps with wire pulling.

      Avoid for

Avoid using where a straight EMT-to-EMT pull elbow is required, or where wet-location suitability has not been confirmed for the exact part and installation method.

      Best for

Best for 1 in. EMT to rigid conduit runs in dry locations, service spaces, equipment rooms, and other installations where conductors need to be pulled through a tight 90 deg change in direction.

      Installed in

Typically installed in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and retrofit conduit runs using 1 in. trade size raceway. A common trade rule of thumb is to keep conduit fill within code limits and use pull fittings where bends would otherwise make conductor pulling more difficult. Actual pull conditions depend on conductor size, insulation, bend count, and local electrical code.

      Why this product exists

This fitting provides a practical way to transition between set-screw EMT and threaded rigid conduit while maintaining access for pulling conductors through a 90 deg bend.

      Compared with similar products

Compared with an EMT-to-EMT pull elbow, this combination style is intended for mixed conduit systems. Compared with a standard elbow without access cover, a pull elbow gives better access for conductor installation and maintenance.
