Adhesive-lined heavy-wall heat shrink tubing for sealing and insulating cable splices, terminations, and repairs in wet or direct burial environments. This 1/2 in ID expanded, 4 ft black tube shrinks 3:1 and is commonly used where a tighter environmental seal and added mechanical protection are needed.

Use for
Use for underground or direct burial splices, outdoor cable repairs, marine and automotive wiring protection, and terminating larger conductors or connectors that need strain relief and moisture sealing. The 1/2 in expanded inside diameter fits over larger connections before recovery.
Avoid for
Avoid for applications that need a thin-wall general-purpose sleeve, very tight bend flexibility after recovery, or exact fit over small conductors where a lighter tubing would be more practical. Do not use where the recovered diameter or wall build-up will interfere with connector clearance.
